Glossary / Customer lifecycle intelligence
What is customer lifecycle intelligence?
Customer lifecycle intelligence is a layer that tracks shopper behavior, scores buying intent, and assigns each shopper a lifecycle stage so a brand can act on where each shopper actually is in their journey.
For ecommerce brands, customer lifecycle intelligence sits between the traffic a brand drives and the messaging tools it already uses. Instead of treating every visitor the same, it reads real behavior, product views, repeat visits, cart and checkout activity, and ad, email, and SMS engagement, and turns that into two things: an intent score and a lifecycle stage.
The intent score answers "how ready is this shopper to buy right now?" The lifecycle stage answers "where is this shopper in their relationship with the brand?", for example a new visitor, a known subscriber, a first-time buyer, or a repeat buyer.
The goal is not to message more people. It is to route the right shoppers into the right action at the right moment, using the flows a brand already runs.
